ST. LOUIS – A restaurant inspired by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay will open at St. Louis’ Four Season Hotel next week.
The hotel is preparing for the soft opening of a new “Ramsay’s Kitchen By Gordon Ramsay” restaurant on April 17. Restaurant staff will take a limited number of reservations for the next several weeks.
A hotel spokesperson tells FOX 2 the restaurant is “inspired by Chef Ramsay’s travels” and “will take guests on a global culinary journey.” It will open on the eight floor of the hotel in an existing restaurant space.
According to the hotel spokesperson, the soft-opening phase “is designed to allow the culinary and service teams to master the new concept,” adding “We would appreciate your understanding as we ramp up during this period.”
The grand opening celebration for the restaurant is expected in June, during which the restaurant plans to fully open to the public.
Ramsay, the mastermind of Hell’s Kitchen and other TV food shows, has partnered with the Four Seasons Hotel to open the restaurant. He has similar restaurants based in Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas and Oklahoma City.
Many existing “Ramsay’s Kitchens” restaurants serve Beef Wellington, Risotto and a variety of cocktails, among other specialty dishes.
The Four Seasons St. Louis Hotel is located downtown at 999 North Second Street.
