JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Outgoing Missouri Gov. Mike Parson has announced three endorsements for state offices, including an endorsement for a potential successor at governor.
Parson will endorse current Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe in his campaign for Missouri Governor.
Parson will also endorse Andrew Bailey in his campaign for Missouri Attorney General and Vivek Malek in his campaign for Missouri Treasurer.
Parson says he is only endorsing candidates in the governor, attorney general and treasurer races because those are the candidates he appointed to those positions.
He says he will not be endorsing in the lieutenant governor or the secretary of state races.
Kehoe, a Republican, has served as Lieutenant Governor since June 18, 2018.
Bailey and Malek, both Republicans, have served in their roles as Attorney General and Treasurer since January 2023.
Parson will depart from his office of Missouri Governor in January 2025 after serving two terms, the first during which he took over for Eric Greitens upon his resignation.
