ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Great Rivers Greenway announced its north connection, called the Brickline Greenway, which aims to transcend boundaries in the St. Louis community.

The public agency hosted the announcement Monday morning for the community to learn more about the north connector, stretching 1.3 miles.

“Brickline Greenway is the idea of connecting Forest Park to Gateway Arch National Park (then) to Fairground Park and all destinations in between,” said Emma Klues, vice President of Communications & Outreach. “These are paved pathways where people can walk, run, ride a bicycle, push a stroller (and) ride a wheelchair safely and comfortably.”

This project is set to begin in May, with construction hopefully to finish within 18 months.
