MANCHESTER, Mo. — Parkway South High School has increased security measures today following the discovery of a gun in a student’s backpack. The incident unfolded during dismissal Tuesday when teachers intervened in a fight between two students.
After the fight, police found one of the students who ran off and found a gun in his backpack. School administrators at Parkway South High are now considering suspension or expulsion for the student involved. No injuries were reported in the incident.
