ST. LOUIS – It will be very hot and muggy again on Tuesday. A heat advisory has been issued across the heart of the St. Louis region, where heat index values this afternoon are expected to top 105.

A cold front will come through the area on Tuesday afternoon and evening, bringing an increase in cloud cover but no rain.

Winds will pick up and swing to the north. The front will do its job and cool us down. Some areas could see a fairly quick 15–25 degree temperature drop once the front moves through.

Highs Wednesday through Sunday will be in the mid-80s, with morning lows in the 60s. No rain is in the forecast.

Clouds will linger Wednesday, and then sunshine is expected the rest of the week.
