DIXON, Mo. – Several roads were closed as water rapidly rose through low-lying areas and near Swollen creeks.

In Pulaski County, several flash floods were reported, and several inches of rain fell in a very short time.

Back in Camden County, FOX 2 spoke to a man, who did not want his identity disclosed, was just minutes away from being stranded by rising floodwaters.

He said he had no other choice but to drive out as the water continued to get higher and higher on his truck.

With the flash flooding threat subsiding for now, officials say the main concern going forward is those streams and rivers, plus the creeks that have turned into them.
