MADISON COUNTY, Ill. – An Arch Medical helicopter crashed during a training exercise in Hartford, Illinois, around 9 p.m.
The helicopter clipped a tree while attempting to take off, flipped over and caught fire.
The incident occurred just over an hour ago, and a crew is on the way to the scene.
According to sources, two individuals were seen exiting the helicopter as it caught on fire. First responders on the scene rescued two individuals and began putting out the flames.
As of now, FOX 2 has not yet learned if there have been reports of injuries.
