ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Homicide detectives are investigating an apparent fatal shooting in north St. Louis County.
According to Mary Schmitt, a spokeswoman for the St. Louis County Police Department, the shooting happened shortly before 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 2500 block of Saddle Ridge Drive.
Officers from the North County Precinct responded to a shooting call and found an unidentified man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man was taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
Schmitt said police have no one in custody.
