ST. LOUIS – It’s been a soggy last several days across the St. Louis region, and there’s at least one more round of heavy rainfall expected this weekend, most of Saturday into Sunday.

  • Farmington, Missouri (6.25 inches)
  • Granite City, Illinois (4.84 inches)
  • Chesterfield, Missouri (4.25 inches)

How much more is in the forecast?

Radar projections from FOX 2 meteorologists estimate:

  • Another half inch for St. Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties.
  • Another half inch to inch for St. Louis County, St. Louis City, Franklin County, Jefferson County and much of the Metro East.
  • Another inch to two inches for communities south of the immediate Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Area, possibly beginning at St. Francois County.

Much of St. Louis remains under a flash flood watch while parts of Dent, Jefferson, Perry and Phelps counties are under a flash flood warning. If upgraded to a warning, take action to avoid low-lying or flood-prone areas. And if a roadway is flooded, turn around and find an alternate route.
