ST. LOUIS — The FCC is examining which regulations it should keep, and it wants to hear from you.

The “Delete, Delete, Delete” initiative asks the public to weigh in on old, outdated, or inefficient regulatory rules that should be changed or deleted to keep up with the changing landscape of mass communications.

“For too long, administrative agencies have added new regulatory requirements in excess of their authority or kept lawful regulations in place long after their shelf life had expired,” FCC Chairman Brendan Carr said. “The FCC is committed to ending all of the rules and regulations that are no longer necessary. And we welcome the public’s participation and feedback throughout this process.”

The FCC regulates local television stations like FOX 2, and media and telecommunications companies like its parent, Nexstar.

The FCC is accepting comments through April 28.  If you want to learn more about the FCC’s “Delete, delete, delete” initiative and make your voice heard, follow this link.
