MERCER COUNTY, Mo. – Sheriff’s deputies are investigating human remains that a turkey hunter found in northern Missouri Tuesday evening.
The location is in Mercer County, along the Iowa state line.
The remains were on private property. Mercer County is working with the Missouri State Highway Patrol to help identify the remains.
They don’t know how long the body has been there and the investigation is ongoing.
