ST. LOUIS – This summer, spend an evening with actor John Cusack as he visits Stifel Theater for a screening of hit film “High Fidelity” as it celebrates its 25th anniversary.

Cusack, who emerged as a teen heartthrob with roles in “Sixteen Candles” (1984), “Better Off Dead” (1985), “One Crazy Summer” (1986), and “Eight Men Out” (1988), broke out in Cameron Crowe’s seminal romantic comedy “Say Anything” (1989).

Prior to “High Fidelity,” Cusack had a career resurgence, starring in “Gross Pointe Blank” (1997) and “Being John Malkovich” (1999). Cusack co-wrote and co-produced “High Fidelity,” an adaptation of Nick Hornsby’s novel of the same name. Cusack received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Comedy or Musical.

In addition to the “High Fidelity” screening, Cusack will share behind-the-scenes stories and anecdotes about the production and co-stars Jack Black, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Joan Cusack, Iben Hjejle, and Lily Taylor.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at LiveNation.com.

In April 2012, Cusack was presented with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his decades-long film career.
