Lanes closed on northbound I-70 due to unknown substance on roadway

ST. LOUIS – All lanes on northbound Interstate 70 near Grand are shut down Tuesday morning due to an unknown substance sitting on the roadway.

Traffic is currently backed up on northbound I-70 down to northbound I-55 as crews clean up the unknown substance sitting on the roadway. A trail of the unknown substance could be tracked along a stretch of Grand Avenue.
