NORTHWOODS, Mo. – Firefighters from numerous agencies responded to a large fire at a strip mall late Sunday afternoon in north St. Louis County.
Crews arrived at the North Oaks Shopping Center on Natural Bridge Road around 6 p.m.
Less than an hour later, several more firefighters arrived at the scene as units fell back into a defensive stance.
The strip mall contains a grocery store, a beauty shop, numerous clothing stores, and other businesses.
