ST. LOUIS – There was a heavy police presence near Busch Stadium Wednesday night after shots were fired involving two cars.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, shots were fired near Broadway and Market Street after individuals in two separate cars got into an argument.

One man inside a vehicle was grazed by a bullet but refused medical treatment. Police say the man in that vehicle is a convicted felon and possessed a firearm, leading to his arrest.

Ameren was also on the scene, as the man’s vehicle crashed into a utility box along Clark Street, just outside Busch Stadium.

The other vehicle involved in the incident fled the scene, traveling south on Broadway, according to officials.

Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage as they piece together the incident, which happened as a baseball game was underway.
