LINCOLN COUNTY, Mo. – A Lincoln County man is facing charges in relation to possessing child pornography.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office alleges that 40-year-old Jeremy Crouch, of Troy, Missouri, set up a camera in a bathroom while he was babysitting.

According to the probable cause statement, Crouch’s cellular company, Verizon, contacted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children after it discovered files containing child sexual abuse associated with the 40-year-old’s account.

Detectives also say that they found “self-produced” nude images of the minors Crouch babysat, and court documents further allege that the photos were obtained from a hidden camera.

Despite his arrest, Crouch denied the charges, claiming ignorance and innocence.

He is currently being held at the Lincoln County Jail on a $750k cash-only bond.

Officials, however, fear that there could be more victims.

According to Lincoln County Sheriff Rick Harrell, the investigation into the incidents are ongoing, and the department is urging anyone who may have come across Crouch to contact Chris Hollingsworth at 636-949-3000, extension 4554.

Hollingsworth can also be emailed at chollingsworth@sccmo.org or chollingsworth@lcsomo.gov.

“Your assistance could be critical,” Harrell said. “So please, don’t hesitate to contact us,” Harrell concluded.
