ST. LOUIS – After another round of snow Friday morning, drivers said they are over it.
“Deer season—great, love it. This time when I’m working, it’s money in the bank, I guess,” plow driver Benji Urban with Elevate Outdoor said.
Urban has been driving his plow all week helping clear parking lots. Others, like Brannan’s Marine owner, Denny Brannan, have been shoveling themselves.
“I don’t need any more workouts,” he said with a laugh as he shoveled in front of his business again. He had just cleared his lot earlier this week.
The snow that came on Friday did cause some issues on the roads in the morning, but drivers said it was not nearly as bad as earlier in the week.
It allowed people like delivery driver Larry Scales to still make his rounds.
“Rain, sleet, snow; Frito Lay must deliver,” he said as he unloaded boxes off of a truck at a convenience store.
With warmer temperatures forecasted for the weekend, people are hoping these extra chores will soon be behind them.
