ST. LOUIS — The summer box office hit “Twisters” swept through theatres this summer. Audiences loved it, but what about the pros who spend countless hours on the roads chasing these storms in real life. I spoke with Tom Stolze and Ashley Poling of the Metro St. Louis Storm Chasers Association about their opinions of the movie. Both gave the movie a solid thumbs up.
The Metro St. Louis Storm Chasers Association is a local group of weather enthusiasts formed by St. Louis storm chasers looking for a way to bring people with similar interests together. The group does numerous public outreach events and speaking engagements throughout the year. They are good friends of us here at Fox 2 and the National Weather Service. They are outstanding partners in the weather warning enterprise in the St. Louis area. For more information about the group, including how to join, you can go to their website, STLChasers.com.
