ST. LOUIS—A locally owned and operated coffee shop, Quarrelsome Coffee, is permanently closing its doors on Feb. 2, 2025.
Founded in Oct. 2023, Quarrelsome Coffee seeks to create high-quality, unique coffee flavors that use both traditional and fermented brewing strains.
Quarrelsome Coffee is owned and operated by Mark Schwarz, owner and CEO of Omega Yeast. Schwarz then partnered with his now coffee program manager, Connor James, to blend their shared passion for coffee with Schwarz’s scientific brewing methods.
Schwarz’s St. Louis-based brewing company, Omega Yeast, uses scientific procedures to create different strains of yeast. These strains are then produced for brewers to utilize in their own crafting of beverages.
Be sure to stop by 33 North Sarah Street for one last drink before their doors close for good.
