ST. LOUIS – Police are investigating after a man carjacked a 41-year-old man and a 15-year-old when they agreed to give him a ride Wednesday morning.

According to SLMPD, the carjacking occurred around 2:30 a.m. at a gas station in the 1400 block of N. Kingshighway Blvd in the city’s Academy/Sherman Park neighborhood.

The man and minor were traveling in a 2008 Saab 9-3 Wagon and entered the gas station’s parking lot to make a U-turn. Reportely, the unknown man approached them, asking for a ride, which they agreed to.

Then, the unknown man pulled out a firearm and demanded they get out of their vehicle and leave their belongings. The victims complied, and the suspect fled the scene in their car.
