ST. LOUIS – Two armed suspects stole a man’s car just moments after he parked during an overnight carjacking in St. Louis’ Shaw neighborhood.
The incident occurred around 1 a.m. Saturday in the 4100 block of Flad Avenue.
According to a St. Louis police crime summary report, the victim (a 49-year-old man) was parking when two suspects approached his front windows and at least one was holding a gun. The suspects ordered the victim out of the car, also taking his keys, wallet and cell phone.
The two suspects, men of unknown ages, took off in the victim’s black Toyota Camry and drove away. The vehicle was later recovered unoccupied from an accident investigated by Edmundson police.
No injuries and no arrests have been reported from this incident as of Saturday morning.
