ST. LOUIS – St. Louis police say a man was caught moving a law enforcement surveillance camera by that same camera.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s probable cause statement, the crime occurred on Monday, June 24, in the 2000 block of Alice Avenue, located in the city’s O’Fallon neighborhood.

Police claim Donahue P. Goins, 54, was recorded moving a SkyCop camera from its designated location.


Body of burglary suspect found Tuesday in River Des Peres

A SkyCop is described as “a mobile police surveillance unit used to provide safety in the community.”

Goins was taken into custody on June 25 and will appear in court on June 26. He’s currently jailed without bond.
