ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A St. Louis County man was convicted Tuesday for displaying a gun and threatening a co-worker at an Overland fast food restaurant.
The crime occurred on May 28, 2023, at the Wendy’s restaurant on Page Avenue near Interstate 170.
Prosecutors said Jerome Dorn, 34, and another employee got into an argument in the restaurant and then went outside to the parking lot to fight. Dorn retrieved a rifle from his car and threatened to kill the co-worker.
A jury convicted Dorn of unlawful use of a weapon – exhibiting. Dorn will be sentenced on August 16. Because he’s been certified as a repeat offender, Dorn faces up to seven years in state prison and a $10,000 fine.
