ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – One man died in a crash Saturday morning in south St. Louis County, authorities say.

The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. Saturday on South Lindbergh Boulevard near Interstate 55.

One man died in the crash, though police have not disclosed his identity or age.

Investigators say a driver was traveling in the eastbound lanes of Lindbergh Boulevard when his vehicle veered from the lane and struck a concrete light pole. The vehicle rolled over, and the driver was trapped inside until first responders arrived.


Police review new evidence in I-55 fatal shooting

The driver was rushed to the hospital, though he was later pronounced deceased from his injuries.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.
