ST. LOUIS – A man was robbed at gunpoint after receiving help getting his vehicle unstuck in snow in the Central West End.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD), the robbery occurred Sunday at the Parc Frontenac apartment garage in the Central West End.

Police say a 32-year-old man got his SUV stuck in the snow while trying to enter the Parc Frontenac apartment garage and was assissted by an unknown man.

Once the 32-year-old got his vehicle unstuck and parked in the garage, police say the same unknown man approached him in the parking garage, pointed a pistol at him, and demanded his car keys. SLMPD says the 32-year-old gave the man his keys and retreated to call police.

According to the SLMPD, the 32-year-old man’s vehicle was not taken and remained at the location. The investigation is still ongoing.
