ST. LOUIS – A man won a $2 million scratchers ticket after he let a QuikTrip employee pick which game to play.
The man was stopping for gas at the gas station located at 16115 S. Kingshighway in The Hill neighborhood.
When he went to purchase the ticket, he allowed the QuikTrip employee to pick the scratchers game.
“I asked the clerk for any $20 ticket, and this was the one that was picked,” he explained.
The man claimed his winning ticket on Christmas Eve.
In 2024 alone, Missouri Lottery players in the city of St. Louis have won more than $45 million in prizes.
