ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. — A man in Lake St. Louis recently became $6.3 million richer after realizing he had won a Missouri Lottery jackpot prize.

The man purchased a “Quick Pick” ticket at a Rocket gas station located at 463 Hawk Ridge Trail in Lake St. Louis for the Mar. 19 drawing.

The Missouri Lottery said the man did not check his ticket until a few days later when he visited the gas station.

After the man had the gas station clerk check the ticket, he was told to go to the lottery office because he had “won a big prize.”

The man went home and double-checked his ticket against the winning numbers and realized he had won the $6.3 million prize.

He claimed his prize a few weeks later at the lottery’s St. Louis office. The winning ticket matched all six numbers, which were 5, 8, 30, 32, 39, and 40.
