ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones is calling for an investigation into the City of St. Louis’ Building Division.

The mayor’s office says the call comes after several allegations of corruption regarding building inspectors. In one of the alleged cases, Jones instructed the Department of Public Safety to investigate an inspector who resigned shortly after.

Jones has also sent a letter to the state auditor and the FBI requesting their assistance reviewing the incidents.
