ST. LOUIS – A former factory site in north St. Louis is closer to being transformed into a recreational and educational hub for kids.
According to our partners at the Post Dispatch, the ‘Missouri Development Finance Board’ voted unanimously to offer $1 million in state tax credits to help pay for the $11 million project.
The site is at the former Carter Carburetor Factory in the Jeff Vander-Lou neighborhood. The facility will include a golf course, soccer fields, running track and batting cages.
