MISSOURI — Less than four weeks from election day, FOX 2 News presents an exclusive primary election special – “Race for Governor: Missouri Republicans.”
FOX 2’s Andy Banker sat down with the top three candidates in one of Missouri’s hottest races (the only three to garner at least 5% in recent polls): the Republican primary for Missouri Governor.
Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft, Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe, and State Senator Bill Eigel answered questions on the key issues facing Missourians.
They discussed the economy, cutting taxes, the border crisis, the state of control of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, abortion access, and the potential move of the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals across the border into Kansas, among other issues.
Finally, they addressed what type of governor they hope to be if elected in November.
But first, they must get through the primary on August 6.
