COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Missouri Tigers have a golden opportunity to close their 2024 college football season with back-to-back double-digit win campaigns.

One final bowl game stands between the Tigers and that milestone. Their bowl game and opponent will be determined on Sunday, following the completion of conference championship games across college football.

This will be the 37th bowl game in Mizzou Football history and the fourth consecutive bowl bid under head coach Eli Drinkwitz. The Tigers are 16-20 in previous bowl games, though they won their most recent bowl matchup last season, the 2023 Cotton Bowl Classic against Ohio State.

Mizzou will miss out on a bowl game that represents an expanded College Football Playoff spot, upgraded from four teams to 12 this year with several at-large bids. They closed out the regular season at 19th in the CFP rankings. But a 9-3 season to this point should be enough for a high-quality postseason matchup.
