ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation announced it will close eastbound Interstate 70’s far-right lane and shoulder next week for repairs at the Blanchette Bridge over the Missouri River. 

Beginning Monday, Feb. 24, through Friday, Feb. 28, the eastbound right lane and shoulder will be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., MoDOT’s news release notes.

On Feb. 28, the two far-right lanes on eastbound I-70 will be shut down by crews around 8 p.m. MoDOT plans for this weekend closure to end March 3 around 5 a.m.

During this time, MoDOT announced an 80,000 lb. weight limit for semi-trucks on the bridge.
