ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Dry weather now through the weekend will not put an end to the rising water levels.

Water swells downstream, and that is what areas like Pacific, Valley Park, and Eureka will be experiencing through the weekend.

The Meramec River is collecting all the recent rainfall. At Valley Park, it’s forecasted to crest to 32.5 feet by Friday night.

At last check, the river’s gauge was closing in on 23 feet.
