ST. LOUIS – Steadier rain has ended, but some mist and drizzle have lingered overnight. That is starting to wind down. We also saw some dense fog develop Tuesday evening, especially in Illinois. That is also starting to clear in the very early hours of Wednesday.

On Thursday, the northern half of the St. Louis region will see gradually clearing skies. South of I-44 in MO and I-64 in IL, clouds and even some spot showers may linger through early afternoon Thursday before we start to see some clearing. Top afternoon temperatures Thursday will be in the mid to upper 40s.

Clear skies and cold overnight; we’ll wake up Friday in the low 30s. Clouds begin to build back from the southwest Friday morning. Highs Friday will be in the low 40s.

We’ll see another round of rain Saturday morning. After highs near 50 F Saturday, temperatures will turn colder for next week. Sunday looks dry and quiet, but highs are near 40 F.

Watching for a chance at some snowfall Monday night and continuing Tuesday. Check back for updates.
