MISSOURI – A new feature is coming to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), an announcement some may have never seen coming.
The department announced today on Facebook that its patrol vehicles will now have “ghost graphics.”
This upgrade, which has low-visibility markings, allows the police vehicles to blend during the day but reflect at night.
According to MSHP, this modification allows them to monitor “aggressive” and “dangerous” driving efficiently.
“Drive safe, even when you think no one’s watching,” MSHP concluded in its post.
The announcement of the ghost features received engagement from users, with some noting the patrol vehicle’s striking antenna still being visible.
