ST. LOUIS — A woman is dead after a shooting involving an off-duty police officer. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police posted on the social media platform “X,” stating that the shooting occurred on Warwick Avenue, off North Euclid in the Kingsway East neighborhood, less than half a mile east of Sherman Park.
According to the police, the officer involved is from another jurisdiction and was not injured. Homicide detectives are currently investigating the incident.
