ST. LOUIS COUNTY – The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that one person is dead after a wreck in north St. Louis County. Darrel J. Williams of St. Louis died following the accident on July 5 around 9:30 p.m.
Williams was driving north on Bellefontaine Road in his 2005 Hyundai Sonata when a 2003 Buick Century traveling south crossed into his path. The two vehicles collided head-on.
Williams was pronounced dead at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. The other driver is in serious condition.
