ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – St. Louis County Police received over 130 calls for shots fired or fireworks on New Years Eve Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

According to the St. Louis County Police Department, officials received 138 calls for either shots fired or fireworks on New Year’s Eve between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.

Celebratory gunfire is now illegal in Missouri after Governor Mike Parson signed “Blair’s Law” last summer.

According to county police, no injuries were reported. However, they did have three reports of shots fired into homes that they believe were related to people celebrating with guns.
