JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. – A driver fatally struck a pedestrian Saturday evening on Route 30 in Jefferson County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of Highway 30 near High Ridge Boulevard.
It’s unclear what led up to the collision. A MSHP crash reconstruction team has arrived to the scene as crews work to clear the area.
Drivers along Highway 30 may be navigating backups in both directions. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes, if possible, as crews attend to the scene.
