ST. LOUIS – Detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating two men wanted for causing a car accident downtown and attacking two people involved in the crash.
According to a police spokesperson, the crash happened on Oct. 27 at the intersection of South 10th and Walnut streets.
Police said the suspects were each driving a Chevrolet Camaro and Chevrolet Malibu when they crashed into a Dodge Journey.
The two men in the Camaro got out and physically assaulted the two occupants in the Journey before driving off in their respective vehicles.
Police described the first suspect as a Black man with a medium build, standing 5’8” tall and weighing 200 pounds, with a black beard, glasses, and wearing light-grey pants and a multi-colored sweater.
The second suspect was described as a Black man with a medium build, wearing a white-hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, and a black crossbody bag.
The two men should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
