ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Torrential rainfall leads to flash flooding around the St. Louis region with some notable impacts in St. Louis and St. Charles counties.

Some spots in the St. Louis metro have seen as many as six inches of rain from Monday evening to early Tuesday afternoon.

Flooding has impacted commutes on many traffic-heavy roads and highways.

Some of the heaviest impacts have been in west St. Louis County and St. Charles County. Viewers from both parts of the region have sent photos and videos of widespread flooding.
