ST. LOUIS – On Monday afternoon, St. Louis police said a man was robbed at gunpoint by his grandson and two associates.

According to a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the robbery happened shortly before 4 p.m. in the 6000 block of Garesche Avenue, located in the Walnut Park West neighborhood.

Officers met with the 66-year-old victim, who explained that he’d been robbed of money and that his firearm had been stolen as well.

The victim told police that his grandson was visiting when two other men entered the home and put a gun to his head. The victim was made to lay face down on the flood while the suspects took his money and gun.

After the robbery, the victim said the two men, along with his grandson, left his home, got into a black Buick SUV, and drove away.

The victim was not injured during the robbery.
