ST. LOUIS – Two fatal weekend shootings have kept St. Louis homicide detectives busy Monday morning, with suspects in custody for both incidents.
The first shooting occurred at a north St. Louis apartment on the 4800 block of Leduc Street in the Kingsway East neighborhood on Sunday afternoon. Police responded to a call shortly before 2:30 p.m. and found an adult man who had been shot and later died from his injuries.
Investigators reported that the incident involved a forced entry, where a downstairs resident broke into an upstairs apartment and was shot by the armed resident of that apartment. The shooter is cooperating with the investigation and is in custody.
