ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Police released pictures of four suspects wanted in connection with a frightening shooting at a short-term rental party in Soulard that left a teenager critically injured.

The shooting went down around 10 pm on Nov. 16 at a short-term rental party at a home on the 900 block of Russell in Soulard. When police got to the scene, they found a 17-year-old shot in the chest. Authorities rushed the teen to the hospital, where they listed him in critical condition. There is no update on the 17-year-old’s condition from police since the shooting occurred.

A surveillance camera captured the gunshots going off. An estimated 75 shots were fired during the incident and damage from the bullets could be seen at the home.

Police are hoping that the images they are releasing will help put the suspects behind bars. The images are somewhat blurry but they do show the suspects with guns. Authorities say the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police say their investigation revealed that a large party was taking place at the short-term rental when the shooting happened.

It’s been more than a year since St. Louis Mayor Tisaura Jones signed legislation intended to more strictly regulate short-term rental properties but clearly there are still problems.

If you have any information about the suspects in the images released by police, you are asked to call police or CrimeStoppers.
