ST. LOUIS – Police are seeking help identifying a woman and two men after allegedly carjacking a Cadillac from a man at a Dutchtown gas station.
According to SLMPD, the vehicle was stolen from a 47-year-old man while parked at a gas pump at the Conoco gas station in the 4300 block of S. Broadway.
Reportedly, the 47-year-old victim and the female suspect went to the gas station after she asked him for a ride to Conoco around 5:30 a.m.
After making a purchase inside the gas station, the victim returned to his vehicle, and two unknown men approached him with firearms while demanding his keys.
After the victim gave his keys to the suspects, they fled in the Cadillac with the female still inside. According to SLMPD, the woman had sold the stolen vehicle to three other men after the carjacking.
Later that afternoon, around 1 p.m., the stolen Cadillac was located on South Grand at Arsenal, and officers began pulling behind the stolen vehicle when it took off speeding.
Police pursued the vehicle until the Cadillac struck another vehicle and multiple sidewalk curbs before it was no longer drivable. While in the 3100 block of Chippewa, the three men and the female suspect excited the vehicle and ran on foot.
The three men, aged 32, 34, and 40, were arrested after fleeing police in the stolen Cadillac Escalade.
Police continued to pursue them on foot and took the three men in custody, but the female got away.
SLMPD said narcotics and two firearms were seized after the arrest.
Police are still seeking information and identification for the female suspect and the two men who initially carjacked the vehicle.
