WEBSTER GROVES, Mo — Police in Webster Groves are searching for a suspect involved in a sexual assault that happened on July 10 around 10 p.m. on East Lockwood Avenue. The victims reported that a man on a green motorized scooter followed them into a parking lot, yelled profanities at them, and chased them.
One victim threw a wine bottle at the man, but he cornered them against a building and continued to taunt them. Police say he then inappropriately grabbed one of the victims. The victims managed to escape and ran into a nearby business to call the police. Despite their efforts, officers have not been able to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans. He had a dark helmet covering his face and was riding a green scooter with black trim. The victims were not injured.
