ST. LOUIS – A Ohio-based pizza chain, has plans to open its eighth St. Louis location in the city’s Southampton neighborhood.

According to our partners at the Post-Dispatch, Dewey’s Pizza has applied for a conditional use permit to operate at the 5200 Hampton Avenue location, and the building’s owner received a $450,000 building permit to make the interior renovations.

The conditional use permit will be discussed at hearing on Oct. 3 at 8:30 a.m.

The Southampton restaurant will join the franchises’ other St. Louis locations serving up pizzas and calzones.
