MIDLAND, Mo. — American Water has issued a boil advory for portions of north St. Louis County as crews conduct emergency repairs. There was a water main break Friday morning and the fix should take about eight hours to complete. Although the notice says that the estimated time for “the event” to end is on Sunday morning.
People living in the areas under the advisory should boil drinking and cooking water for three minutes. The utility says that the water is safe for bathing and other uses.
