ST. LOUIS — A record low pressure is expected to hit St. Louis as a powerful system moves into the region on Tuesday.
FOX 2’s weather team is reporting the current record for the lowest pressure in March was 977.3 mb, back in 1976, which is equivalent to the pressure of a Category 2 hurricane.
The system moving into St. Louis on Tuesday will come close to this record dropping as low as 980 mb, which is similar to that of a borderline Category 1 or 2 hurricane.
With this dramatic change in pressure may come flare-ups in sinuse pressure, migraines, and joint pain, which could continue through Wednesday.
