ST. LOUIS – A Red Flag Warning is again in place for our region Friday from noon to 7 p.m. due to the combination of gusty winds, low relative humidity, and dry vegetation.
Temperatures return to the mid 60s Friday and southwesterly winds gust upwards of 30 mph. We’ll have a mix of clouds and sun overhead. A cold front will move through the region Friday night and we could see just a few spot showers north of the metro as it passes through.
Saturday will be dry and sunny for much of the day with temperatures in the low to mid 60s. Clouds increase later in the day ahead of our next system that will bring beneficial rain to the region.
Rain and some storms will build into the region overnight and last into early Sunday morning. The severe weather threat remains low at this time, but some of the storms could produce hail.
After a little lull in thunderstorm activity mid to late Sunday morning, another front will bring a second round of showers and storms through the region for the afternoon.
